In accordance with Arkansas state law, WSPA has implemented the Bell-to-Bell, No-Cell policy for the 2025–2026 school year. To maintain a productive, respectful, and safe learning environment, personal electronic devices are prohibited during instructional time for all grade levels.
Prohibited personal electronic devices include, but are not limited to:
- Cell phones
- Smart watches
- Wireless earbuds or Bluetooth-enabled headphones
- Tablets, laptops, or notebook computers (unless issued by WSPA)
- Digital media players and portable gaming consoles
- Pagers/beepers
- Any device capable of transmitting data via Bluetooth or a mobile network
Exemptions:
- Devices issued by WSPA for instructional use (must follow the WSPA Acceptable Use Policy)
- Personal electronic devices required for health-related reasons (documentation may be required)
- Devices specified in an active IEP or 504 plan
- Use during true emergencies that pose immediate danger (fires, natural disasters, medical emergencies, active threats)
