AMFA

An innovative partnership with the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts brings immersive, arts-integrated learning experiences to Westwind creatives.

Westwind School for Performing Arts is proud to announce its selection by the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts (AMFA) to serve as the middle school pilot for The AMFA Classroom, an innovative educational initiative designed to connect classroom learning with the transformative power of the arts.

Throughout the 2026–2027 school year, Westwind creatives will extend their learning beyond the traditional classroom and into the museum, participating in immersive, arts-integrated STEAM experiences that encourage exploration, critical thinking, collaboration, and creative expression.

This partnership reflects Westwind’s commitment to providing meaningful educational experiences that challenge creatives to think differently, discover new possibilities, and make connections between the arts and the world around them.

Westwind extends its sincere appreciation to AMFA CEO Dr. Victoria Ramirez and Director of Programs and Partnerships Ms. Fanchon Bone for their vision, leadership, and commitment to expanding access to exceptional arts education opportunities for young people.

As the middle school pilot for The AMFA Classroom, Westwind looks forward to helping shape an experience that demonstrates the powerful role the arts can play in education.

At Westwind, we believe extraordinary opportunities inspire extraordinary creatives. Through this partnership, the spotlight on what’s possible continues to grow brighter.
